According to the plaintiff’s complaint, the casino was aware that asbestos was present in the hotel’s casinos in various locations, including in the laundry room, basement, showroom ceiling and entrance but failed to inform workers of its presence. The lawsuit also alleged that two other properties owned by the same company conducted extensive renovation and were conducted without securing necessary inspections or permits.
