FREEPORT, TEXAS —

A bus carrying plant workers lost control, flipped and landed on the edge of the water by a ditch.  One person has died and 30 others have been taken to the hospital after a bus was shuttling LNG plant workers in Freeport.  The accident happened near Highway 36 and Highway 288 around 3:00pm Tuesday, October 23, 2018.  The Chief of police, Ray Garvey was reported saying the bus was on its way to a nearby parking lot when the driver changed lanes and the back of the bus started swaying causing it to fishtail, then lose control and wreck in a ditch full of water.
